Since its beginning, the Church of God has been a "movement" with a mission of ministry to the world. In this new millennium, God is leading the Church of God as a global movement prepared to meet the demands and challenges of ministry in the 21st century.
Our purpose is to resource the local church to FINISH the Great Commission by developing spirit-filled leaders through partnerships, innovation and leadership development.
Developing Church Leaders
We recruit and equip Christian leaders, offering educational opportunities to improve their platform skills, work on their craft, develop their gifts, learn from their mistakes, and allow God to grow their ministry, so they, in turn, can lead, train, and mobilize the next generation of leaders to succeed and advance the gospel of Christ.
Planting Life-Giving Churches
We are an association of churches affiliated with the Church of God in Cleveland, TN that partners with local churches and church leaders to provide support, guidance, and resources to launch and grow life-giving churches in both urban and rural communities.
Building Strong Relationships
Solid relationships are the foundation for growth in any aspect of life. As Church of God churches multiply across Western Canada, we are committed to one another’s success by providing mentoring relationships with pastors and churches for guidance, encouragement, and fellowship.
Revitalizing Local Churches
With North American church attendance on the decline, it is critical that we cross cultural walls to reach the lost. We are all about exploring new ideas on how to do church and helping churches stay culturally relevant, characterized by Bible-based teaching, authentic relationships, and dynamic family ministries.
Cooperative & collaborative partnerships with of our COG Canadian National & International Offices, other denominations & Para Church organizations enables us to use each other's resources and makes us stronger.
Resourcing Aboriginal Ministries
We are intentional about working to advance reconciliation and renew the relationship with Indigenous people and their communities through church plants and ministry partnerships.
