Making A Way
There are two realities that we all endure. First is that there are limited resources that each of us has at our disposal to spend and there are always bills waiting to be paid. The second is that ministry … whether planting a church or running a soup kitchen, takes financial resources to run.
If God is tugging at your heart to financially support this ministry, there are a few things we want you to know:
- What you invest in the Church of God (Western Canada) stays here to support small churches, church plants, and outreach events. We work HARD to keep every administrative cost as low as possible.
- Our financial position is audited every year and reported to leaders in Western Canada and the Church of God International offices.
- We are a fully registered and recognized church denomination with the CRA and are fully authorized to receipt all donations for tax benefit.
- We will NEVER coerce nor use ANY guilt -laden techniques to encourage you to give. We want you to investigate our work, ensure that you are at peace with who we are, and be comfortable with any gift you choose to trust us with.
- When you give, YOU will designate where those resources will be spent. We support missionaries around the world and if that is where you desire your gifts to go, then that is exactly what will happen. As you dialog with us, we can update you as to the current needs.
- We encourage you to make your local church the first place you designate your offerings. If you are capable of giving more, then we would be happy to talk about your support of this work.
